More fun on a flight. This drawing was pretty random, not planned out except for the little robot guys. I had been toying around with their look on sticky notes prior to this.

Another drawing to pass the time during a long plane ride. This one came together quickly, and is sort of a self portrait. I love putting down random lines, and discovering what it is forming. In this method, every drawing is a surprise!

Drawing on a long flight to Asia, this one started as a face but branched out to frogs and tadpoles. This kind of drawing is so much fun because each one is a pleasant surprise. It's the free association method of drawing.

This is from a flight from SF to Cleveland. I usually use pencil so I can cautiously sketch before committing to lines and shapes. Using pen directly on paper forced me to slow down. Perfect for a long flight.
